ABOUT US

Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to uplift families in our community by addressing their challenges and traumas through Biblical truth, education, service work, employment, and community outreach. As a faithful and growing church, we are deeply rooted in our local area, fostering true community spirit, deep Christian spirituality, and a passion for Jesus. We are dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, witnessing, loving, and serving from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth.
Our History, The Ways of Christ Church
We are a movement of more than 3,000 congregations in the United States and Canada, committed to sharing the limitless love of God throughout the world. We worship in over 17 languages, in a variety of styles and settings. We are related to 15 colleges and universities and 7 seminaries and divinity houses where new leaders are nurtured. Our 31 regions, 14 general ministries, and ministry partners throughout the world make it possible for us to love and serve our neighbors from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth.
Core Values: Faith, Compassion, and Togetherness
At our church, we are dedicated to helping families in our community overcome life’s challenges. Through Bible-based teachings, educational programs, job opportunities, and active neighborhood support, we strive to make a positive impact. Our strong connection to the local area drives us to build a supportive, welcoming community where everyone feels valued. Guided by our Christian faith, we are committed to fairness and the spreading of Jesus Christ’s message of love and kindness to all, regardless of their background. Our ultimate mission is to create a space where families can find help, hope, and healing.
Our Leadership
Our vision is to be a faithful and thriving church that reflects true community, fosters deep Christian spirituality, and embodies a genuine passion for justice. Inspired by Micah 6:8, we strive to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. We aim to create a nurturing environment where individuals and families can grow and experience Christ's transformative love. Our church extends support in various practical ways: meals are provided upon entry, and the courtyard is open for fellowship throughout the day. Essential hygiene facilities, including showers, are available, and we offer sober living support, as well as assistance with recovering essential identification documents such as ID, Social Security cards, and birth certificates. Additionally, we provide dedicated men's and women's homes to help foster stability and growth.
